The place is tidy and well kept. It’s a pleasant boarding house, though it’s some distance from the centre. From Kežmarok train station, opposite Lidl supermarket, most cab drivers know it, and a taxi costs about €3. There’s also a bus from behind Lidl to Maly Slavkov; the stop is around a five-minute walk away.

I could have given this five stars, but I had told you about my allergy and it wasn’t taken into account. At dinner I had nothing to eat, then waited 45 minutes for a meal. By the time it arrived, my whole family had finished eating.

A really lovely family, and they’re happy to help with all sorts of things. I’d definitely recommend them!
