10/10
The staff were nice and spoke good English, though you shouldn't expect to find Hungarian-speaking staff. Signing in was a bit of a turnoff, but that was the only unpleasant part. The rooms are modern and spacious, with a recent contemporary facelift, and each bathroom has been practically redesigned and comes with a hair dryer. Breakfast was delicious, with an indulgent variety of food, and the dinner we were served was tasty too. A brilliant option for staying in Kosice.

I was visiting Kosice for personal reasons and picked this hotel because of its location near the town center. The rooms were clean, which I was very happy with. The problem came on our last morning: we had asked reception if we could have breakfast a little before opening, and the manager agreed. But when we arrived, one of the restaurant ladies was very hostile and clearly unhappy that we were there early.

Excellent location in the center of Old Town, with a great breakfast and helpful staff. I'll be back!

6/10
The reception staff were friendly enough, and being so close to the shopping mall was handy. But the rooms were really dull, almost like cells, and the pillows were so bad that I slept poorly. Getting extra pillows from reception was hard work. The bathrooms were tiny, and the shower wasn't great and needed cleaning. I probably wouldn't stay here again, I'd rather pay extra for a nicer hotel.

The staff were polite, and the location worked well.
