The only thing I’d flag is that it wasn’t clear you need to request room cleaning, so our room was missed. Still, I liked the decor and the welcome, the people were nice, the service was good, and the food was great. It’s a well-designed concept, and I’ll definitely stay at Villa Regia again on a future visit to Kocise.

I’ve only eaten here, and the special menu runs until 3 pm, I think that’s the same as the hotel’s. The burger was great. The spinach was a bit watery but still nice, and the soup of the day, with batat, was good too.

I ordered duck at the restaurant, and it was ready exactly 20 minutes after they said it would be. The service was perfect, and the meal was delicious, just what I’d hoped for. I’m very pleased.

We came to Kosice for a wedding and arrived a day early to see a little of Slovakia. The room at Villa Regia was lovely, and from arrival through the end of our stay, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the restaurant and recommend trying some of the traditional Slavik dishes. Since we had an early flight, the staff made us sandwiches to take when we left. Thanks, Villa Regia, we’ll be back!

The pork ribs were the highlight, tender and juicy, with a nicely balanced glaze that was a little sweet and spicy. They came with grilled corn and pickled cucumbers, and the portion was hearty and looked good too. Villa Regia has a cozy, rustic feel right in central Košice. My one gripe was the drinks: there was only one kind of beer, which felt like too little choice for a restaurant at this level.
