The location is the strong point, a 9/10 if being in the city center matters to you. We were glad to have booked just one night. Room 201 was tiny, like a shoebox, with a low attic ceiling. We came in summer and it was very hot under the roof. The old “A/C” seemed useless. I couldn’t feel a difference, and it blew less air than an ordinary fan. We’d specifically asked for air conditioning, and that was our only condition for booking. I went downstairs right after we arrived and turned it on, then asked the receptionist how to adjust it. She said it couldn’t be controlled and the owner had set it that way. If it had worked, the room might have cooled before we arrived. It made me angry that my pregnant wife had to deal with the heat, but after our long trip she was too tired for us to move somewhere else late at night. The shower was another joke. The liquid soap hadn’t been refilled, and there was long hair in the drain, clearly not checked or cleaned. If you stay here anyway, leave a lamp on at night so you don’t bump your head on the sloping roof or the wooden post by the bed near the bathroom.
