Penzion Luxor

They even had breakfast waiting on the table at a time that suited me, and waited for my late evening check-in. Communication was easy, and the staff were friendly and professional, always making me feel welcome after a long day of travel. The room was bigger than I expected, with a great bed, and the whole small family-run place felt clean and cozy. I've often had a better time at small local places like Luxor than at bigger four-star hotels. I really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely recommend this penzion. Thank you!

Our room wasn't dog friendly, either. The kitchen downstairs was small, with everything else upstairs via round stairs, which are the worst for dogs. The bathroom was falling apart, as the pictures show, and the kitchen had an oven but no stove or microwave. For somewhere advertised as dog friendly, that was a strange setup. But the worst part was what happened with our dog. We were walking him to the room when the owners got scared or something and started screaming at him. He hadn't done anything to them. He was frightened and barked back, of course, and our poor dog was left traumatised.

I was really pleased with the host, the room, breakfast, and how clean the pension was. I didn't take any pictures. Thanks for the kind hospitality.

The room was on the small side, and so was breakfast. Still, it was good value for the money. It has a hotel feel, and I'd choose to stay there again.
