A small pension with a family feel, good food and reasonable prices. Worth a try. The one letdown for me was the limited beer choice. Why does everywhere in Slovakia seem to serve only Czech beer?

We were here for a tennis tournament, and it was an easy walk to the club. For an overnight stop while travelling, this place is fine, but I wouldn't suggest staying longer. The rooms feel dated and aren't anything fancy, and I found it quite expensive. They charge extra for services, even a container to take dinner leftovers away. Breakfast coffee was supposed to be included in the price, but they added another 3.50 euros.

The reception guy was rude and dismissive when I asked about staying in the room ten minutes beyond checkout. He wanted 10 euros extra, even after I said I was booking a larger room at the same place for that day. Then he said I'd owe 30 euros for the gap between checking out of the first room and checking into the next one. It felt like a simple scam, and this was my worst experience ever in a place like this. Don't go if you want a good experience.

A good option for a business trip or a vacation. The meal was high quality, though not the very best, I'd give it 8.5/10. Could be a nice place to celebrate an anniversary with family.
