Affordable and centrally located, so it can work for a short stay. The shared bathroom was okay, but there was basically no service, just a local boy to speak to and get the keys from. Stay away from room no. 3. Its “windows” face the living room and won't close all the way, so there's no fresh air and you hear everything in there, from the cleaning lady's music to people washing dishes, as if it's happening in your room.

I planned to stay one night at Casa De Ferias, but ended up there for 5 nights, 6 days. It's a great little place right in the city centre of Sao Tome, and I loved it. The host Bernilda was so welcoming.

I found it to be a perfect base for exploring Sao Tomé Island, and I'd happily stay again. The accommodation is in a great spot, and cleanliness is Nilda's top priority. Lovely Nilda knows Sao Tome really well, speaks English very well, and was happy to help with anything I needed. Great place for the price, fully recommended! Thanks for everything.

The price is very fair, and Bernilda was so helpful to guests. She and her brother Lalito made me feel more welcome than anyone else I met in São Tomé. I miss you both already, and I warmly recommend staying here.

The location made it easy to walk all over the city centre, with convenience stores, restaurants, two bakeries, an ice cream shop, and the market close by. The WiFi was really strong, which matters a lot to me. The house was clean, well kept, and comfortable, with a hot shower and great water pressure. There's a full kitchen to use if you want to cook. I liked the stay enough that I'd bring my family and friends back one day so we could rent the whole place. Nilda was a wonderful host, helpful and supportive without ever being intrusive. She helped me exchange money too. They offered free airport pickup; I gave them the wrong time at first, then messaged about two days before, and they still collected me on time without charging extra. There was a short power cut in the neighbourhood every other day. Casa de Ferias couldn't control that, but be aware you might wake up to as much as 2 hours without electricity. Honestly, that wasn't too bad.
