I wouldn't recommend this place. They didn't honor the price I had reserved through Experian, and the help I got wasn't right.

For about $30 for two people, I think the price is affordable. There's no breakfast, but the kitchenette lets you prepare your own meals, and a Campero restaurant and several food vendors are nearby. The rooms are basic, though adequate, with a good TV, a bed that's not as hard as an orthopedic one, and a private bathroom. The shower only has cold water, which is really unpleasant for those of us not used to Metapán's sweltering heat. Parking is another drawback. We got lucky and were allowed to park across the street by some shops. If all you need is a basic place to sleep, it's a good option for the price.

The room is lovely, with air conditioning and hot water. But the kitchen they advertise has no refrigerator. Laundry was the most expensive I've paid in a year and a half of travel: $13 for one bag, charged by the item instead of by weight. Socks or underwear cost $0.50 each, towels $2, and pants $1 per pair. We asked about the price beforehand, and they should have explained the charges then. If we'd known, we wouldn't have had our laundry done here.
