The rooms are cozy and really clean, with a soft bed and a fun hammock tucked in the corner. Ours didn't have a window, so there wasn't much natural light. Still, I'd absolutely stay again. The courtyard and walkways are full of lovely plants and flowers, and the view from the outdoor restaurant is gorgeous. Guests can choose from two generous breakfasts for free, or order anything from the breakfast menu at a discount. The waitstaff were patient with my limited Spanish, and everyone at this beautiful hotel was so kind. Highly recommend!

A really lovely spot to take photos, with a peaceful, beautiful setting and amazing views of the lake. I shared a filling steak sandwich and fries with a friend, and it was delicious. We had coffee too. It was tasty, though it could've been a little better. The food and atmosphere make this a must if you're in Suchitoto.

The restaurant's view is breathtaking, and our room was a good size and beautifully furnished. We loved our stay overall. The one snag was the WiFi: it worked in the shared areas but didn't reach inside the rooms. Reception said the system was being worked on. I suspect adding more routers could have fixed it.

The views are spectacular, and the people are so warm. This was a quiet little oasis in a historic town, and the best part of my trip. Everything was clean and up to date, with fresh water, coffee, and complimentary drinks. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. I slept like a newborn.

The food was great, and the staff were attentive and quick to help. But the noise really got in the way: several speakers were playing different songs at once, which spoiled the atmosphere and made it harder to enjoy the fantastic view. Cafe 1800, please turn the music way down, or better yet, switch it off so people can enjoy the view and the excellent birdwatching location.
