The room was average, with a small window, cold AC, and an okay bathroom. I spotted a dead cockroach and some dust. I asked for a quiet room and slept well. I was there briefly, from 5pm until 9am the next day. Convenience gets five stars: it's right near the border and train station, with street food at night, a 7/11, and a bank close by. $23 a night was fine, and I could pay by credit card. The 500 baht key deposit had to be cash, though, and having no baht on me made it stressful to find an exchange in the evening. The receptionist was nice and spoke some English. I'll stay here again since it's literally next to the border gate.

It's near the border and Rong Kluea market, so the location is great. For the price, the rooms and service are reasonable. There isn't hotel parking of its own, but they give you a voucher for free parking in the public lot. It's usually completely jammed during the day, with spaces opening up after 6pm and in the early morning.

For a budget hotel, the room facilities are good enough for a one or two night stay. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the border. Staying farther away might cost a little less, but once you add public transport, it works out to roughly the same. It's better to book ahead so you don't risk finding it full when you arrive. There's parking nearby.

We arrived without planning to stay because the border was closed. The price was reasonable, the room was clean, and the AC was strong. That was all we needed.

The location is as close to the border as you could want, and the reception staff were very friendly and polite. There were lots of mosquitoes in the room, though the whole area seems to have them. KFC is across the road, and the market and mini marts are just a couple of minutes' walk away.
