The common room was a lovely place to sit, read, or study, with cozy sofas, tables, chairs, and a fridge for our food. They also offered free coffee in the morning. Our bed and locker were both roomy, and the bed was so comfortable I slept well. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated how attentive they were to guests. The A/C was limited, but that didn’t bother me. I liked that they were mindful of electricity use, and it gave me another reason to spend more of the day outside. I had a great experience and would stay again. It’s a hostel I’d recommend to budget travelers.

The owner was genuinely friendly and chatty, and tried hard to help us in several ways. He even let us leave our bags in storage all day after checkout. The place itself is very basic and needs a proper clean. There were flies in the toilet and shower room. It’s cheap, so expectations may be modest, but I can’t give it a higher rating until it’s cleaner. Thanks for having us, and I hope things go well for the place.

A quiet, friendly, old-school backpacker hostel in the Sam Sen district, right across from Wat Tri Thotsatepp. It’s small and basic, but the atmosphere is relaxed and the price is easy on a budget traveler.

It’s under a 15-minute walk to Khaosan Road, and I was mostly satisfied with my stay. But the A/C only runs at bedtime, and there’s taxi noise from outside. The reception and hallways aren’t air-conditioned either. I was on the second floor, where the wooden building shakes and creaks so badly that I couldn’t sleep at all.

Really comfortable, pleasant hostel for a low price. The staff are kind and welcoming, and the value for money is hard to beat. They even have free coffee in the morning 😅
