Arawana Residence Phromphong

My room was lovely, really big and full of natural light. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Lovely view and great service for an affordable price. I’ll definitely come back.

My partner and I have stayed here twice, and the second visit was for a week. The location is very good and strategic. The rooms are cozy, quiet, and clean, unless you get one facing the front. On that side, people talking and laughing outside, along with the occasional traffic, can be a bit annoying at night, even though the street itself is quiet.

I went back and forth about writing this, but future guests should know what to expect. I booked Arawana Residence Phrom Phong for two nights on the same day I arrived, and stayed that night. The location is extremely convenient for getting around and shopping, close to BTS Phrom Phong and the EM Districts area. BTS Phrom Phong is on the main line, and there’s a 7Eleven at the entrance to the alley. For check-in, you have to walk a few meters to Arawana Express Phrom Phong Hotel to meet the receptionist, who then lets you check in at the residence. It’s a bit inconvenient, though maybe not a major issue. The room didn’t look like the photos. It was much older, with cracks, and the dining table, kitchen utensils, wardrobe, and small bathroom all seemed really old. There were cockroaches, so they’d put out two jars of scent to keep them away. My room still had a very big cockroach, but I closed my eyes and ignored it. That’s all I wanted to share. I could stay here again, but I hope the hotel/apartment will renovate the facilities so customers can feel more secure.
