The breakfast was quite good, with options like eggs, vegetables, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee, bacon or sausages, muffins, toast, stir-fry, and wontons. There are also several places to eat just a short walk away. We had a one-bedroom premium room with a proper king bed and a kitchen and living area. The beds were firm, as seems typical here, and the older TV had plenty of channels, including a few English movie channels. Wi-Fi stayed strong and reliable during our visit. We felt secure with the very visible security staff at the entrance around the clock. They also helped us hail taxis and communicate with Bolt or Grab drivers. There’s a nice pool that several guests used each day. The reason I’m giving four stars is the noise and the cold showers. From Monday to Friday, rooms facing the street can be woken between 6 and 9 a.m. by loud mufflers and engine vibrations. We could hear sweeping too, and it honestly sounded as if a window were open. If noise bothers you, I’d ask for a room away from the street, which I assume would be much quieter. The street is generally calm otherwise. I’d definitely recommend the place and stay again.

The room was roomy, with a kitchen and sitting area, and the staff made us feel welcome. It’s a small, friendly hotel in a nice local neighborhood. A food market next door serves breakfast and lunch, except on Sundays. I got the best pad Thai ever there for $2. There’s also a specialty coffee shop beside it, where an iced mocha was $1.75. We used Grab to get around, and the very kind doorman helped us connect with our Grab rides.

The balcony looks out over the pool, which was such a relaxing view, and the apartment worked really well for our family of five, two adults and three little kids. Having two bedrooms was a big plus. We pushed the beds together in one room and that worked great. Everything was clean, spacious, and nicely laid out, and the staff have been genuinely helpful and friendly. We only arrived yesterday and are here for a week, but already feel sure about giving it five stars. The location is hard to beat and the value for the price is outstanding. I stayed in a five-star hotel in Sathorn, Bangkok earlier this year, and for comfort and practical use, this place holds up well. It doesn’t have European five-star luxury, and there are a few signs of wear, but neither bothered us. The amenities are enough for us, the atmosphere is lovely, and we feel at home. For what we paid, we’re getting a lot. Highly recommended.

The room was dirty and poorly maintained. The tub was grey, grimy, and chipped, the MDF furniture was wrecked, and the old carpet was unpleasant. Dust covered the bedroom reading lights, and we even found a tissue behind the curtains. The curtain tracks were broken, and several lights didn’t work, leaving the room dark in the evening. The staff were pleasant, though the evening receptionist seemed young and had trouble communicating.
