Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel

We liked this place enough that, after starting our trip here and heading south, we booked it again for the end. The hotel is gorgeous and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is in a league of its own, and the customer service is phenomenal. Our housekeeper Ket may be the sweetest woman I’ve ever met. She always greeted us with a smile and seemed genuinely excited to see us. Both times we stayed, our room was spotless. Thanks to Avani and to Ket for taking such good care of us.

The rooftop pool was a real wow, with incredible views over Bangkok and the river. There aren’t many sunbeds, but whenever we went after 14h00, one was available. Birth also deserves top marks, he was very friendly and helpful. We stayed four nights. The room was clean, with a massive king-size bed, and the view felt like a once-in-a-lifetime sight. I’d advise booking a river-view room. Breakfast was adequate, though not the best I’ve had at a 5 star hotel. I’ve traveled around Asia a lot and still can’t understand why they boil the chicken and pork sausages. This hotel isn’t cheap. The restaurants and bars here, as well as those at its sister hotel the Anantara, are very expensive and out of reach for an average traveler, though I understand that’s part of a 5 star hotel. Bangkok has plenty of great food and drinks at reasonable prices. I was told hotel guests and GHA members get discounts, but staff didn’t always seem to know about them. I used grab to get around Bangkok, and it worked well.

Win at the concierge recommended some excellent tour packages and helped make our Bangkok trip more memorable. We also had exceptional service from the moment we arrived through checkout, among the best we’ve experienced in all our travels. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had across the hotels and countries we’ve visited, with great variety and quality. Our room was very clean throughout, with a comfortable bed and stunning river views. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Avani Riverside Hotel Bangkok, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it.

The room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with breathtaking views that made mornings special. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, always smiling and seeming to anticipate what we needed. The facilities were impressive too, from the elegant interiors and relaxing pool area to the dining options. Everything worked smoothly, and the atmosphere felt calm and private despite the hotel being in the middle of a lively city. I was genuinely welcomed and well looked after from the start. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I’m completely satisfied. It set a new standard for comfort, luxury, and service for me. I’ll remember the experience for a long time and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone visiting Bangkok who wants the very best.
