Baan Tanwa - MRT Ratchadapisek

For these low rates, it’s hard to find better accommodation in Bangkok. The rooms are large, clean and contemporary, everything worked, and the staff were lovely. It’s a five-minute walk to the train and close to Chatuchak market. The area is quiet and has a local feel. I preferred the more intimate stay here to my time at Labua Tower, though the two places are completely different. Thank you Kay and family.

We stayed for 12 days, and the care the whole team put into looking after guests was clear. It felt like home, and I’ll always remember the place because my husband learned basic swimming here. There’s a gym and paid laundry area for guests, and the lobby has complimentary tea and coffee. We also tried food from the restaurant, which was really delicious. The MRT is nearby, or you can take the minibus for just 10 baht if you don’t feel like walking. We really want to thank the entire team.

I checked out early because the stay was so stressful. The room was cleaner than at other average hotels, but the facilities were broken. The bed squeaked whenever I sat on it, and the walls and ceiling were so thin I could hear everything from upstairs and the next room. The corridor was noisy too. I had to work every day, but the WiFi was too slow and didn’t work. The price wasn’t that cheap, so I was disappointed.

Really nice location and a beautiful stay. The rooms were great, and tea and coffee were complimentary. They cleaned our room every day and left fresh water bottles.
