Our air conditioner stopped working, but after I told the manager it was fixed within an hour. I’ve never had service that quick anywhere in Asia. The Wi-Fi was excellent too, and everything was refreshed daily. For the quality and price, this is one of Bangkok’s most reasonable hotels. The rooms are spacious and look old, but they’re well maintained. I came away with an extremely positive impression.

There’s plenty around within a five-minute walk, including shops, bars, 7/11, food places, and laundry. The rooftop pool was lovely, and our room had lots of space with a nice, modern look. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole stay went smoothly from beginning to end. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff were friendly, but this was the worst “hotel” I’ve ever been to. The whole building was VERY dark. In the room there was only one tiny light above the bathroom, and the shower had no lights at all. The bugs and dust were worse. Within five minutes of entering, I had a major asthma episode. The AC was choked with dust, and there was dust and huge spider webs in the room corners. The TV was also broken in the middle of the screen. I went downstairs within minutes, showed the staff the videos, and asked them to cancel my 14-day stay. They returned my key deposit and told me to contact traveloka for a refund. I did, but the hotel is completely ignoring traveloka’s attempts to contact them about refunding the money.

It’s hard to find the hotel, and there’s no breakfast. The pool faces north, not south, and the pool area has no comfortable chairs. The place is run down. In my first room the TV didn’t work, and that barely mattered since it only had 9 channels, no films, BBC, or cnn, and the picture was lousy. Most rooms have a thin door between them, which isn’t unusual in this part of the world, so you hear a LOT from the next room. I was lucky to change rooms, which is why I gave 2 stars for service. In the first one, three people from India were shouting and talking loudly for hours. Someone owns this hotel and collects the money. I wonder how that person feels and thinks.
