Check-in was quick and easy, and even though we arrived before the official time, they let us in early. There was no extra charge for keeping the key, and the extra bed we requested before arrival was reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a pleasant stay. We'd recommend it. The BTS is only a 3-4 minute walk away, with 7-Eleven stores all over the area. Phetchaburi Road is under construction right now, blocking part of the alley entrance, so taxis can't turn straight into the hostel. You may have to walk a short distance. Another option is to guide the driver in from Phaya Thai Road through the small alley next to Asia Hotel, or use Siam Swana Hotel as the destination and walk from there. It wasn't a problem for us.

Daraya Hostel was a great deal for the price. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around and reach Big C and other shopping malls. Staff were very hospitable and always ready to help. Free breakfast every day and a complimentary bottle of water for each guest were thoughtful extras. A budget friendly place that still feels high quality. I'd highly recommend Daraya Hostel to anyone visiting the area.

The location made it easy to get around, and there were lots of places to eat nearby. For the price, it was really good value. My room was clean and comfortable, the bed was good to sleep in, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. I had a great stay and would happily come back.

A long-overdue review: this is an affordable hotel with good security and very clean rooms. Breakfast was decent for all ages, and having UHT milk was especially handy for the little ones. The lobby is a quiet spot to relax at the end of the day. The staff were always kind and helpful with my little boy. See you again!

Getting into the city center took much longer than expected. A trip that should have been about 20 minutes stretched to nearly an hour, with terrible traffic in the morning, midday, and afternoon, so it may not suit tourists whose plans mostly center on downtown. Our four-person private room was clean and comfortable, with its own bathroom, and the friendly staff made for a pleasant stay. For the price, it was decent, especially with breakfast included.
