Chingcha Bangkok - Hostel

The rooms are small but thoughtfully laid out, and there's air conditioning in every room. This place is amazing if you'll be out most of the time, though it's not a great choice if you plan to spend long stretches in your room. The location makes it easy to explore all of Bangkok, and the price is amazing. Staff are very friendly and speak pretty good English. Breakfast is very good. You can choose scrambled eggs or an American breakfast, then add things like jam, butter, salt, fresh ripe fruit, toast, and more.

The beds are on the large side and have their own privacy curtains. Each bed's living space also has a lockable cupboard, which came in handy. They weren't the most comfortable beds, though. The rooftop bar is reasonably priced and has a good view over the square. It's a great hostel in a very central location, with easy access to Khaosan Road and most tourist attractions.

Getting to the old town and the temples is easy from here, and the hostel is in a really handy spot. The staff were friendly, and the place had a young, lively feel. Breakfast was included and there was loads of tasty food. The beds are small and there's not much room for luggage, but for the price it was fine. Recommended!

The hotel has lovely decor, and the view and breakfast were both great. I really liked the atmosphere too. The shower setup was odd, though: water came out of two holes and flooded the whole bathroom each time.
