The cafe food was so, so good, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We loved how easy it was to get around, with train stations, shops, and markets close by, plus a park right nearby that I especially liked. From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff were warm and welcoming. It was a really nice stay with kind people, a good location, and great food. We'd definitely come back!

Affordable, clean, quiet, and in a nice, accessible location. The owner and staff were so welcoming and kind, and the food was good too. The satay was my favorite. Highly recommend this place, and I'll definitely come back.

I spent 250B on beef green curry and soda with fresh orange and lime juice. This review is only about the COFFEE SHOP downstairs at De Chalet. It's a nice, quiet, cool oasis on the park side when it's hot, with coffee, colorful fruit drinks, and food. (2024, February 2026)

The owner is very friendly, and you can get coffee there at 8:30am. The place is close to a green park for an early morning walk, and the sky train is about a 5 to 10 minute walk away. One downside: the tap leaks and keeps humming when the water pump is on. I'd suggest adding long mirrors in the living room so guests can check their outfits before heading out. Still, it's a good holiday stay.

Their croissant is buttery and delicious, and the coffee is really good too. Our hotel was nearby, so we went there for breakfast. I hadn't realized they had rooms as well. There was a bit of a language barrier, but they were friendly and helpful when we forgot our things and came back at noon to pick them up.
