Double Bed Hotel

Getting there was easy, and the place was beautiful and clean. The owner was quick to respond and very accommodating. Thanks for the experience, I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The local market is right across the street, and there’s a convenience store almost next door, with supermarkets and malls just a few minutes away. I’d suggest getting around by taxi or motorbike; I’m not sure whether parking is available. The place is small and cozy, with a chic boutique hostel feel and a private bathroom, at an affordable price. The interior design is superb, the owner has great taste, and I liked the little night light on the small staircase.

The hotel is really close to the MRT yellow line, which was handy. Staff were friendly, and the decor gave the place a cozy feel. Everything from the lobby to the rooms was impeccably clean. I had a very comfortable, welcoming stay and would highly recommend it.

The street noise was the main problem. The hotel sits on a busy corner, and the room insulation is practically nonexistent. Motorbikes and people talking outside came through constantly, as if the window were open, and it never let up. There’s no elevator, and the hotel has several floors, though there are only a few rooms, so it doesn’t feel crowded. They ask you not to wear outdoor shoes inside and give you old, worn slippers. Toilet paper can’t be flushed. The receptionist is usually only around for check-in and check-out, so there’s little staff presence, though they’re always reachable on WhatsApp. The room decor is cute and matches the pictures, but cleanliness could be better. It’s a bit out of the way, with an MRT station about a 15-minute walk away and a 711 right next door.
