Right in the middle of the nightlife, but it can be quiet if you get the right room category. The service was great, the staff were friendly, and the room was cleaned nicely. I'd stay again next time.

It's not bad, and if there's nowhere else available it's acceptable. But for the price, you can definitely find a better hotel. They seem to benefit from the location.

I had a great six-night stay. Ask for a room in the back building unless noise doesn't bother you.

The staff were the best part for me. Everyone was kind and helpful throughout, and they went out of their way to make sure things ran smoothly, including booking taxis. I stayed in both blocks after extending by a night and finding no room available in the back. The rear rooms are larger and quieter, since they're away from the main street. The area itself is busy day and night, especially in the evening, and can smell a bit at street level. There are two Irish pubs and an English pub within 100 yards. My favorite was the larger Irish one across the street. The location is in the middle of the red-light district, and most of the guests seemed to be older men looking for hedonistic fun. That gives the place a sleazy feel. If you're a single man looking for fun, you might consider staying here. Otherwise, you could visit the area and stay somewhere that feels less lecherous. I wouldn't recommend it for families. Nothing bad will happen, of course, but the atmosphere feels wrong for children, especially at night.
