Evergreen Place Siam by UHG

The staff were kind and really helpful, and I had a very good stay both times I visited. Getting around was easy with BTS and the malls nearby, and everyone gets a welcome juice voucher, which was a fun touch. Breakfast had a big spread of European and Asian food. On my first visit, I had a clean standard room with a king bed, a little tea and coffee area, an open closet, and a private shower. It was plenty big for me. I came back a week later and was upgraded to a larger one-bedroom suite, but there was a very bad smell, possibly a plumbing issue, so they moved me to a lovely, spacious two-bedroom apartment. The rooms are fairly basic and old-fashioned, though the large living room made the place comfortable. I’ll probably stay here again on my next Bangkok trip :)

We’ll make Evergreen place our base in Bangkok from now on. It’s quick and convenient for getting around, with the BTS visible from the hotel driveway and a canal nearby where you can catch a local boat to Pratnum or Nana, then walk to the shopping areas. There’s plenty around too, from street food and restaurants to laundromats, washing ladies who can have your clothes ready the same day, and several 7eleven stores. Even with so much close by, the hotel itself feels quiet and relaxing, and the staff were wonderfully helpful. Our room was a comfortable size for Bangkok, on the 17th floor, with a view back toward Siam Centre and MBK. We didn’t use room service, since we ordered Grab delivery instead. The pool was cool, but it was nice to sit with our feet in the water, then lounge and unwind. There’s a gym too.

The staff made a strong impression, especially Hera. I dropped tiny earbuds in the room just before checkout, and she helped find them, then kindly arranged for them to be sent to me at the airport by Grab delivery motorbike taxi. I was very impressed by the service. The hotel was clean, with a great bed, a lovely pool, a gym, and good food. They also had thoughtful touches, including a welcome soft drink and free snacks by the pool. Since I was leaving before breakfast, they prepared a really nice takeaway box with salty and sour foods, juice, water, and fruit. Everyone was very friendly.

Breakfast was free, fresh, and had plenty to choose from. I found the stay comfortable and good value, with a fantastic view from the room. It’s very handy for getting around too: Ratchathewi BTS is nearby, and Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery, MBK, and other major shopping spots are close. I’d happily recommend it.
