Graceland Bangkok by Grace Hotel

The central location makes it easy to reach Bangkok’s main attractions, public transport, and shopping areas, including the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and busy shopping districts. Grace Land Bangkok offers a comfortable stay at reasonable prices, and its room choices range from standard rooms to suites. They come with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms. Guests can use the restaurant, which serves Thai and international food, as well as room service, meeting rooms, and a 24-hour front desk. Staff are described as friendly and helpful. It’s presented as a dependable option for both business travelers and tourists looking for convenience and comfort in Bangkok.

The location is decent, and housekeeping was ready to clean whenever I left in the morning or needed them. The guys at the main entrance were always smiling and willing to help. But there are better options nearby, and unless your expectations are low, I wouldn’t waste time booking here. My non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. The smoke detector kept flashing, and maintenance had to put tape over it. Reception, housekeeping, and room service numbers were always busy, so I had to go downstairs for help. They provided just one room access card and said they had no extras. I also found small insects in the room from time to time. The receptionist’s attitude didn’t meet hotel standards.

Milky is sweet, friendly, respectful, and funny. She speaks English and understands very well. I recommend going to her ❤️

TRAVELLER BEWARE The room we were given smelled strongly of cigarettes even though we had booked a non-smoking room. Renovations were underway, with glue and construction smells in the corridors and workers using equipment, and there was dampness and mould throughout. We asked for a refund, but were first offered another room that also smelled mouldy, then a move to a different hotel with even worse reviews. We booked through booking.com, and when we tried to cancel, they sided with the hotel. Other guests describe very similar experiences, so I suspect this is how the place operates. I’m writing this to help others avoid booking here.
