Hotel Soni Mansion Pratunam

We didn't see the rooms, so I can't comment on them. The reception looked clean enough, and they were renovating, which makes sense for a new hotel. We saw a twin room listed on agoda, but when we asked, they said they had none and offered a king bed with a small bed for a much higher price. We declined, then suddenly he wanted to negotiate the price of a twin room. The area is also just filled with indians. Right after we got out of our taxi, an indian came over asking for money, then another asked if we wanted indian food. We said no, but he kept asking until we walked away. I wouldn't stay on this street. If it's your first time in bangkok, this would be a sad first impression. It's sad that bangkok has turned into this.

The hotel is in Bangkok's Pratunam area, close to shopping malls such as Platinum Fashion Mall, markets, and public transport. Rooms have air-conditioning, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, free WiFi, and private bathrooms.

It's a perfectly fine hotel, with clean rooms, a quiet stay, and nice staff. You're basically in little India, though, and there isn't much around besides Indian restaurants and cheap massage parlors.

I stayed at this newly opened hotel in Pratunam and found the rates very reasonable. It's conveniently close to the airport rail link and other public transport. The rooms were very clean and specious, with good-quality bed linen and towels. Staff were courteous.
