The bed was so firm it was uncomfortable, and I’m used to budget travel, so I don’t have especially high expectations. The room also smelled musty, and things seemed poorly maintained: the door panel was peeling and the faucet was loose. Noise was a problem too. The rooms aren’t soundproof, so traffic and people shouting in the market below came through from sunrise to sunset. I also didn’t feel very secure because anyone could use the lift to reach the rooms. I saw several doors left open while housekeeping was working. There’s plenty of shopping and food right outside, but even if you only need somewhere to sleep, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly, the rooms very clean, and the wash room had a safe. The air conditioning and showers were great too. There’s Thai food and shopping close by, and the hotel has massage and spa services. Breakfast in the morning was very good. It’s an excellent hotel with the amenities you’d expect from a name brand.

The hotel sits right above the female fashion market, which makes it a good place to shop. The room was okay for me as long as you’re not too particular, though I found it dim. The toilet door doesn’t lock, and after a shower the drainage is a little slow, leaving some water on the bathroom floor.

The staff were great and we liked the location. If you want to visit platinum mall often or be near the morning pratunam market, it’s a decent option for the price. Our room did look a bit worn. The bathroom door squeaked whenever we tried to close it, and the room smelled of smoke each time we came in.

Year 2024. PERMANENTLY CLOSED. The location was good, near massage and Sab wonton mee, though cars have to come in along a narrow road. Clothing shops cover much of the hotel’s front entrance. You can order a taxi at the counter for 450 baht, which still seemed reasonable, and the taxi drives all the way in.
