iCheck inn Sukhumvit Soi 2

I’ll come back on future trips. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and my room was great, with a comfortable bed, big TV, hot water, cold AC, and fast internet. It’s a bit of a walk to Sukhumvit Rd., but they’ll take you there by tuk-tuk whenever you want. There was also free coffee, and it was quite good. Easy five-star stay.

We spent seven nights as a family in a family interconnected room. It was clean and spacious, with a sofa and large-screen smart TV in each room. The hotel road is quiet, though it’s quite a walk to the main road. There are halal food options directly opposite the hotel and farther up toward the main road. The hotel also runs a shuttle tuk-tuk to and from the top of the road.

The room was good and well cleaned, the receptionists were welcoming, and the hotel’s in a good location. They also run a tuk-tuk to the main road until 8 pm. Checkout soured the stay. A man at reception went to inspect the room, then came back with a picture of a stain in the wardrobe. We didn’t know where it came from and definitely hadn’t made it, but he kept arguing. He went back upstairs, maybe to check with someone, then told us we could go as if he was letting us off. It put us in a bad mood. I’d suggest taking a proper video before entering the room so they can’t blame you for something you didn’t do.

The location worked really well for us. We were close to the BTS and just two stops from the MRT Blue Line for getting to temples or Chinatown. The complimentary TukTuk to the main road was a big help after days with 20k+ steps. We stayed five nights and liked the room. The AC was cool, the shower was huge, and the bed and linens were comfortable. The smart TV let us sign into our own apps. There’s a clothes washer, detergent for sale in the sundry shop, and a place to hang clothes to dry. The staff were lovely. No complaints from me, and I’d stay here again.
