Interpartie Hotel - Adults Only - Hostel

I felt more comfortable at this hostel than at most places I’ve stayed in Bangkok. The price was great, and breakfast was included. Staff were helpful and nice. There’s air conditioning, a power plug and light by your own bed, and lockers for valuables. Plenty of food options are close by, along with a BTS station and a few buses.

This was a completely devastating stay. The place is a hostel, not a hotel, despite how it’s presented on booking sites, and cleanliness was zero. The contact person was very rude, racist, and ill behaved. The beds were hard and wrapped in plastic that couldn’t be removed, and they made noise constantly. The rooms are cramped, with cardboard partition walls so thin you can hear everyone, from someone smoking outside to people in the hallway or other rooms. You have to take your shoes off on the ground floor, and the toilets are downstairs rather than in the rooms. The whole place felt absurd and filthy.

This is a good budget option, very easy to find just left of BTS Bang Chak station exit 3. It’s close to the station, though a bit far from the city’s famous attractions. Breakfast is free, with coffee, bread, and an egg. There’s a guest fridge and kitchen, and laundry service costs 40 baht. The British owner is talkative and funny, and the staff are kind and helpful. The one shower in the women’s dorm needs better cleaning.

I only stayed two nights, but felt really comfortable here. The hostel is clean and cozy, and the host and other guests were all so friendly. The BTS is just a minute away on foot, and it’s excellent value for the price. I’d recommend staying here, and I’m sure I’ll come back next time I’m in Bangkok.
