Klassique Sukhumvit Hotel

The staff made check-in easy and were friendly and helpful throughout. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the price felt good for the quality. BTS On Nut is easy to reach, with plenty of local food stalls nearby. You can also try Burmese food. I had a wonderful stay at Klassique Sukhumvit and would recommend it to anyone after an affordable place in Bangkok.

The room was old but not bad. What bothered me was that the curtains let the sunlight straight in, so the room was bright by 7 am. Cleaning takes place between 12-18, which felt like an odd schedule, and there’s a 1000 THB deposit that they return at checkout. The hotel is under the highway, isolated and hard for taxis to find. It’s noisy too, and the hallway was full of people shouting, so relaxing or sleeping was difficult. I know the price may tempt you, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

This is my go-to place whenever I visit Bangkok. The local feel won me over, especially On Nut market just around the corner, where you can get street food and fresh produce at affordable prices. There are also local shops, massage places, and coffee shops nearby. The location is great, and the free shuttle tuk-tuk to nearby places and the BTS station makes getting around easy. The staff are amazingly helpful and the service is great. It isn’t a luxury stay, but it’s a good base if you’re here to get things done or want local tips.

It took four hours for them to tell me I had no booking, then they finally agreed that I did. Reception was so poor that it’s hard to describe. One staff member was unhelpful, and another just stared at me blankly. I’m glad I only booked one night, and I won’t book again. The hotel is a long way from On Nut Station, a difficult walk with luggage. It’s under a bridge and not easy to find, but they don’t make that clear. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place doesn’t deserve to be called a hotel.
