The rooftop terrace is one of my favorite places to unwind, and the staff have been so friendly and helpful. I’ve been at Krit Hostel for a month and really love how clean, quiet, and affordable it is. The neighborhood is lovely, with lots of good restaurants and food nearby. I’ve tried several things from the Krit menu: mango sticky rice, eggs and bacon for breakfast, Nutella waffles, smoothies, and other dishes. Everything’s delicious. The atmosphere makes me want to return many more times. I run a travel agency focused on Peru trips, @dopkertravel. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but I slept surprisingly well anyway. I liked the relaxed feel, the welcoming and very friendly staff, and how much was easy to reach from this great location. Good value for the money, too.

We got into our dorm and within seconds knew we wanted to leave. The air felt damp and poorly circulated, and the place smelled bad. The bathroom reeked of urine. We cancelled straight away and received a full refund. The cleanliness was really poor, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

I arrived late from the airport after reserving a women-only dorm on Booking, and was simply told there was only a mixed dorm left. No one had let me know ahead of time. They also cancelled my Booking reservation without explaining why. The hostel smelled bad and was dirty. I know it’s low budget, but this was the worst hostel I’ve visited. I don’t recommend it. There are plenty of other good quality, affordable places, so avoid this one.

Really liked my three nights here. The hostel cafe had good food, the place was clean and had a nice atmosphere, and the other guests were social 🩷🇸🇪.
