Le Grande City Pratunam

The room looked different from the photos, so don’t expect too much. At check-in we found dirty socks from previous guests left in the toilet. There were no CCTV cameras on the guest floors, and the walkways had no air conditioning. We had just two pillows for two people, and they charged 50 baht for one extra. The room had a constant sewage smell, especially by the toilet. Getting there was inconvenient too. A logistics company is nearby, the road is narrow, and large lorries often park there and cause traffic jams. At about 8am on our last morning, housekeeping in another room were banging doors and stomping around. Even though we had double-locked our door, someone knocked once and then came straight in. My husband yelled at them to close it, and they ran off, leaving the door ajar. When I mentioned it to the receptionist at checkout, all he said was “SORRY,” with no explanation.
