Lilybeth Hotel Pratunam

We chose this hotel after looking at the website pictures and doing some research. The service was okay, and the staff spoke English well, but the room needed better cleaning and maintenance. There was lots of dust on the bedside table, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and quite a bit of rubbish under the bed. The wooden bed frame was a hazard. My husband and I kicked it several times by accident, bruising ourselves and hurting our feet. The bathroom didn’t smell bad, but the bathtub had many yellow stains. The heater looked old and didn’t seem safe, and both it and the water pressure need improving. I wanted to use the tub, but it took a very long time to fill. We hope they fix these things for future guests.

The room was clean, and all the receptionists were helpful. The one woman I’m talking about is super fun, kind, talkative, and fluent in English. She’s very informative and knows all the latest social media trends, haha. She usually wears her hair in a single ponytail, is quite slim, and sometimes puts on glasses to read. Absolutely top-notch! 🏆✨ I don’t know why the place gets bad reviews. Everyone who works here deserves smooth and abundant blessings. They made my first birthday trip wonderful and enjoyable.

I called at about 1:02 PM today and was disappointed by how the female staff member spoke to me. She was abrupt and unfriendly throughout, with a curt tone that didn’t feel polite. She ended the call without thanking me or giving a proper closing, then hung up loudly. Courteous, professional communication matters because it reflects the organization’s standards. I hope management addresses this and provides staff with proper training.

I couldn't sleep well because the room wasn’t soundproof, and people talking upstairs and downstairs could be heard all night. The room was small and uncomfortable, with an especially cramped toilet and shower area. Its slippery floor felt unsafe, and the toilet wasn’t clean. The shower pressure was very low. The reception staff weren’t friendly or welcoming either. It wasn’t a pleasant stay and didn’t feel worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
