M Silom By Favstay

I wouldn’t have moved in if I’d known the pool would stay closed this long. It’s been nearly a year, and every month they give a different later date, with no progress in sight. The building itself is nice and the staff are very friendly, but I’m tired of waiting. It only gets one star from me until the pool is fixed.

I spent almost a month at M Silom in Bangkok, staying in a One Bedroom Apartment City View for Rp1,239,974. Having the city spread out below from my room was a real highlight. The apartment felt contemporary, with stylish furniture and nice details, and it gave me a comfortable place to wind down even with the city buzzing outside. Being in the heart of Silom made it easy to get to key attractions, shopping areas, and nightlife. The property has a polished, modern feel, while the welcoming atmosphere and thoughtfully designed spaces also made it feel like a little retreat. M Silom was a stylish place to stay, with those city views adding a lot to the experience.

This is an average condo, definitely not a luxury building. The gym is tiny, with room for two people at most. During my 10 months here on a yearly lease, the pool was open for only three months. It was shut three separate times: about two months when I moved in in November, then open for two months, then closed for another month. Since the earthquake, it’s stayed closed, and they haven’t even started repairs.

I live here and really like the place. The amenities are great, and the views over Bangkok are amazing.
