Majestic Suites

I was considering booking a room, but didn't even get a chance to go in and ask properly before the security guard at the entrance treated me rudely. He was dismissive and unprofessional, and I felt unwelcome right away. As an Indian visitor, I was especially disturbed by how he spoke to and treated me compared with other guests nearby. I left feeling humiliated and disrespected. That first interaction completely changed how I saw the hotel. No potential guest should be made to feel unwelcome or discriminated against. I hope management looks into what happened and trains staff to treat every visitor with dignity and respect. Based on this experience, I wouldn't stay here or recommend it.

For nightlife, restaurants, and shopping, it's hard to beat this Bangkok location at Sukhumvit and Soi Nana. The hotel is old and has been around forever, but the rooms are clean and well maintained. The building might be venerable, yet the service feels five-star at three-star prices. Everyone from the doormen and receptionists to the cleaners was friendly, capable, efficient, and accommodating. Kannika at the front desk was fantastic. She arranged vehicles, offered advice, found information, and did what she could to make the stay easy and comfortable. I can't praise the staff enough.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there's a free welcome drink when you arrive. Since the hotel is right on Sukhumvit, I expected more noise, but the rooms are fairly well insulated. I also sleep with white noise, so it never bothered me. The location puts you in the middle of the nightlife and close to the hospital I needed to visit. I liked having a bathtub and a bidet, and both the AC and WiFi worked well.

On the first night, I couldn't sleep because the room shown in the photos had a window beside around 15 air-conditioning motors. I asked to switch rooms, and they moved me without any trouble. The rest was great value: clean rooms, good service, and friendly staff. Nana station is close by, and T21 is nearby too.
