The helpful staff are a real plus, especially the guy in the lobby. It’s also close to 7/11 and TDP mall. But it’s far too expensive for what you get, at 1'200 for this neighborhood, when you can pay half as much just three minutes away and get a gym. The BTS is a 20-minute walk, between Punnawithi and Udom Suk, so walking in the sun is a lot. The AC is very loud, the WiFi can be extremely slow depending on the room, and there’s no smart TV, gym, or pool. Hot water stops after five minutes in the shower. I confirmed that in different rooms over a stay of more than 10 days. The pesticides in the room gave me a headache, and room cleaners woke people almost every day at 8.15 a.m. by chatting, slamming doors, and cleaning with doors open. Getting around was easy from Marsi Hotel, with public transport, shops, restaurants, and local sights close by. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely equipped, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. It was a great value for money and a lovely base for our Bangkok visit. I’d definitely recommend Marsi Hotel.

A good, cheap place if you’re after somewhere decent to stay near my friend’s neighborhood. There’s a great garden restaurant nearby called Hunters, worth checking out. If you’re looking for a five-star hotel, head into town.

The room was big, the Wi-Fi strong, and True Digital Park is walkable. It was not bad overall, but staff held me up while they checked the room, the A/C remote stopped working after a few hours, and some machinery made a constant whining sound. It wasn’t too loud, just annoying. There’s room for a bathtub, but no tub.
