Marwin Space

I’ve stayed at Marwin Space Hotel three times now, and it’s still one of my favorite convenient, comfortable choices in Bangkok. The team is super friendly and helpful, and they’re always around to sort out any problems. It feels welcoming whether it’s your first visit or another one. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though a little compact, which suits me as a solo traveler. The location is the big draw: Pratunam Market is right behind the hotel, Central World, Big C, Platinum Fashion Mall, and the Erawan Shrine are all walkable, and getting to the BTS is easy. I think it works for solo guests, couples, families, and friends. Five stars from me, and I’d recommend it for a Bangkok trip.

The location is perfect, but the rooms made for an uncomfortable night. They can be small and humid, and if you book here, I’d suggest checking in with three people so you don’t get assigned one of those rooms. Despite the good location, it still doesn’t work for me. Think twice before booking.

I liked that the room had no carpet, so I could walk barefoot, and housekeeping vacuumed and mopped every day. It was clean and had good lighting, plus a minibar, hair dryer, and kettle. They also provided two bottles of mineral water daily. The room was remarkably soundproof, which made it easy to relax. Marwin Space is well placed between Pathuwan, Central World One, and the Siam area. I’d stay there again on a holiday in BKK.

The location is really good, right inside pratunam market. Soundproofing in the room could be better, though. Around 7:30 in the morning, you can hear shop shutters opening and some motorcycles.
