Orchid Inn

The reception is open 24 hours, right in the heart of vibrant Nana. Staff are great and flexible. Probably not a place for people who like making problems.

The toilet wouldn't flush, and other things in the room were broken. The sheets had lots of stains, and staff refused to change them. I believe the hotel reuses sheets between short stays without washing them, passing them from one guest to the next after people have used the room for 15-minute encounters. I only stayed because it was a major holiday and everywhere else was full.

There were so many cockroaches that I got scared and accidentally broke a glass. I asked for help cleaning it up, but the woman told me to wait until 8 a.m. for someone to come. Since it was only 5 a.m. and I was worried about getting hurt, I asked to borrow cleaning supplies so I could deal with it myself. I had no idea what to do, and there was no way I could sleep with that many roaches around.

People use this as a short-stay hotel, but I believe the stained sheets get passed from one customer to the next without being washed to save money. Given how they're reused, I wouldn't be surprised if someone caught an STD from them. If a guy books this place, leave him. He doesn't care about your health.
