Pailin Guest House

We had a very nice stay, thanks! The staff were so friendly. Since we weren’t arriving until quite late, she left a key for us to check in. There’s free tea and coffee, plus a nice little bench and table downstairs. Great value, and the aircon worked well. The location was great too, close to restaurants, bars, shops and cafes. Our sink was blocked, and when I told them, they didn’t fix the blockage, they just removed the water from the basin. I found it quite funny though 😂

The location is quite convenient, and they leave coffee, tea, biscuits and bananas out in the morning. As a budget option it’s fine if you don’t mind a very firm bed, a towel-like blanket and an awkward bathroom. The provided blanket is basically a towel and not enough for two people. The stone bathroom floor is uncomfortable to step on when using the bathroom or showering.

Owners were kind, and the location is great, close to restaurants, 7 eleven and other places. The rooms are large and good value for the price. They were mostly clean, though some areas were dusty and could use a deeper clean. The bed sheet was just a small blanket, not really big enough for two people.

Everything in the room was great, including the lighting and windows, and the bathroom was perfect. The bed was comfortable too. It’s easy to get in and out, with a main gate key so you can come and go any time without restrictions. The price is affordable, and the owner’s dog is lovely. Just be aware there’s no lift.
