This Revolution hostel is good for a laid back stay, even if it doesn’t have much atmosphere. I’ve also stayed at Revolution in Pai and Khaosan, and those felt different. The place could use a few more things going on upstairs, maybe a rooftop bar, since the view from the roof is lovely. The beds are huge and super comfortable, there are plenty of toilets and showers, and the common room is great. It has cheap drinks, coffee, Milo, noodles, a TV, loads of charging ports, and the comfiest couch ever. It seemed a little short staffed, but the staff were lovely and did their best to help. I’d definitely come back if I’m in Bangkok again.

Chrissy deserves a special thanks for her kindness, lovely smile, and the positive energy she brings every day. She made my stay unforgettable. The whole team was warm and professional, with a great attitude. Everyone was kind, friendly, and ready to help, which made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. The hostel is within walking distance of restaurants, cafés, markets, and all the important places you might want to visit. It’s a convenient spot, and I’d highly recommend it for the comfort, service, and atmosphere. ❤️💎

A sweet old hostel with a calm feel. It’s a little run down, and the design makes things look less polished than they are, but it was clean. The staff were really friendly, and my friends and I loved staying here. We’ll definitely come back.

As of 2026, this place doesn’t come close to the photos or ratings. The woman on staff spends the day lying on the couch watching videos, while the reception sign says “be right back.” The bathroom walls are worn down by time, there’s no water dispenser, and messages go unanswered. It feels like it might have been a good place 15 years ago. The beds and location are good, but it needs new staff and renovations.

At first I thought, oh no, this looks like an abandoned building. After meeting the staff and seeing the design, I understood that the old look was intentional. It’s bold and aesthetic, but still comfortable and calm. I loved relaxing on the rooftop and hanging out at reception. Malls are within walking distance, and the park and transport are about 10-15 minutes away on foot. Nightclubs are around the corner, so you can have a fun night out and still get a good night’s sleep. I loved my stay at Revolution asoke. ❤️
