We only had one night here, which was a shame. The room was good for what we paid, the AC worked well, and it was generally quiet. I'd read complaints about noise, but we didn't have that issue. If your neighbors are loud, I suppose you could knock or call the staff. The front desk people, both the guy on nights and the woman during the day, were amazing. They were the friendliest staff we met in a month in Thailand: helpful, polite, welcoming, and happy to say hello. At other hotels, people didn't greet us even when we said hello. Here, we felt like people again. The owner should be very, very happy with them. The location didn't look promising at first, but it's actually top notch. The red line is close by and goes quickly and cheaply to the airport and city center, much cheaper than the green line. The neighborhood itself is calm, without traffic noise. They also offer great free coffee and a small breakfast-style spread. Thanks so much, guys. You made our last day in Bangkok one we'll remember with a smile.

The staff were amazing and even let us shower before our flight and leave our bags for the day. It's just two minutes from the red MRT, with a 7/11 next door. The room was simple, clean, and lovely. Free coffee and cornflakes, and laundry is available too. Wow, what a great place!

If you want to stay near Chatuchak, this is a nice budget option with shops and other amenities close by. The hotel is quiet and quaint, away from the packed city center, and near Wat Samian Nari SRT station. Getting here from Suvarnabhumi takes about an hour by train. The staff were courteous, friendly, and spoke English. I had a double room with a private bathroom on the top floor. It was clean and spacious enough, and soap and shampoo were provided. The 7-11 right next door made it easy to pick up anything else. The shower heater worked well, though the water pressure could be low, and the blackout curtain did its job. The main issue is noise between rooms. The floor creaks, and with the thin walls you can hear footsteps and slippers shuffling. Most of it starts in the morning when people are moving around, so I'd go to bed early and use earplugs if needed. Still, it's a good value place in a convenient area.

I was glad they allowed late check-in for my night flight to Don Mueang. The staff were welcoming and easy to talk to, and one of them gave me useful tips for getting around the city. The price was reasonable. It would be better with soundproofing, though. There's a small elevator, shared bathroom and fridge, plus a pantry at reception. A 7-Eleven is nearby.

The room had a faint moldy smell, and there was a little mold in the shower. The pictures made the place look much nicer than it felt in person. It's outdated, and the rooms are small and very old-looking. At 800 baht a night, I expected more. To me, they're worth around 400-450 baht, not 800.
