It’s quiet and pretty, with a good price right in the middle of everything. I also liked that it wasn’t crowded. The place has a homey feel, and our room had what I needed, including a table and a lamp. Check-in went smoothly too.

The area felt safe and was good, but for me this place didn’t match its price in cleanliness, room quality, or service. I’d stayed at another hotel nearby, close to the hospital too, and liked it. I tried Roompini because it was 100 THB cheaper, and that turned out to be a bad choice for me. I’d suggest trying just one night, or paying 100-200 THB more for a much better nearby place. One night was plenty for me. The room was small and stuffy, with no fresh air. The cup wasn’t clean, and I found the sheet and bed uncomfortable. It didn’t feel like anything was particularly high quality. I hope they pay more attention to cleaning and details like the smell, because I think the place could improve. I found out after booking that service wasn’t available after 4 pm, and even before then it was hard to get help. Calling was the only way to reach anyone. They’d say there was nothing they could do after 4 pm and hang up quickly. I understood they might not be able to help, but I wish they’d spoken to me a little more kindly.

There are a washer and dryer on site, each costing 40 baht per use. The washer was set to 40 degrees Celsius. I asked the maid to switch it to cold, but she pointed at the dryer instead and didn’t change the setting. A fire ant ended up on my pants, and the heat stripped the paint off one of my T-shirts. I stayed in ground-floor room 11. If you’re sensitive to noise, I’d ask to change rooms. The maid started moving around at about 6:30 am, and on our last morning she spoke very loudly with a guest. That bothered me a lot. Don’t eat in the room, or fire ants may get onto the bed. Drinking is okay. They provide cups and ice, though I’d rather use my own cup for hygiene. The room instructions aren’t in English, and the maid doesn’t speak English, so have Google Translate or another translation tool ready. The location is good: two BTS stations are a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Bus 13 from BigC Supercenter Ratchadamri drops you close by. There’s a café right outside with good drinks, though they’re a little expensive.

The building has a cool look, and the location is excellent. Since it’s self check-in, though, the cleaning between guests can be a bit hit or miss.
