Rosewood Bangkok

There are much cheaper five-star hotels in Bangkok, sometimes $100 or less per night, so paying four to five times that makes you expect something special. Rosewood Bangkok delivered on service, and I’d happily return. Early check-in and an upgrade through American Express FHR weren’t honored because the hotel was allegedly full, but staff were excellent otherwise. Lobby staff learned my name, and the pool attendants quickly brought chilled water and watermelon shots when I sat on a lounger. Breakfast was world-class, and they encourage you to order multiple courses. The relaxing spa on the 6th floor is worth booking a treatment at. The traffic is a real downside. Coming from the airport, you could be stuck up to 30 minutes waiting to turn right at the Phloen Chit x Wireless junction onto the hotel’s road. There’s also some traffic noise unless you’re on a high floor. It’s strange that neither the pool nor the shallow “hot tub” style area is heated, especially when much cheaper hotels have this in Bangkok. Average start, impeccable finish. 🙏

The location felt peaceful while still being well connected, and the atmosphere made it easy to slow down and enjoy the moment. Rosewood Bangkok combines contemporary luxury with Thai soul, with calming, striking design, beautifully appointed rooms, and unforgettable city views. What stood out most was the thoughtful, intuitive service. Each interaction felt personal and precise, and the staff were warm without intruding. Elegance, comfort, and authenticity come together naturally here. An exceptional stay from beginning to end, and highly recommended for travelers who like refined luxury with character.

We arrived a little early, but the room was ready with the extra bed and special amenities for the children. They even gave us two kinds of toothbrushes, one suited to my elder son and one for my younger son. The pillow menu was a lovely surprise, and I was delighted to find the Tempur pillow I used to have at home. We had an excellent family stay. Staff were attentive and the service was outstanding. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful range of choices, and we especially liked the comfortably warm pool. Our room was cleaned twice a day, which made the visit even more pleasant. Highly recommended.

Katie was extremely helpful. This was my first stay at the rosewood, and I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and very attentive, the rooms were lovely, and the location is prime. Breakfast at Lakorn was great, with anything you can order. I especially liked the beef noodle soup. The wontons themselves were really good, though the broth could have had more flavor. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Bangkok.
