We paid 1,050 THB, but the room was nowhere near an acceptable standard. I checked in at about 9:20 pm last night. The front desk staff were friendly, polite, and professional, but the room itself was in a completely unacceptable condition. We were shocked when we walked in. The toilet, bathroom, vanity, and several fixtures were damaged or broken, there was a strong unpleasant smell, and the air conditioner was so loud it made resting difficult. We were extremely tired after arriving late, so we didn't complain or ask to change rooms then. That doesn't make the problems any less serious. By basic hotel standards, this room should never have been offered for sale. There were several functional, hygiene, and safety issues: water kept leaking from the vanity sink; the hairdryer wasn't fixed securely and moved when used; shower water flooded onto the bathroom floor; a broken ventilation grille meant the bathroom door couldn't close; a bedside power outlet had been removed, leaving an exposed hole; and the covers on other outlets kept coming loose, which could be a safety hazard. This points to a lack of basic maintenance and quality control. The room plainly wasn't ready for paying guests. Given its condition and the safety concerns, this needs serious attention. I expect appropriate compensation and for the property to review its room readiness standards so this doesn't happen to other guests.

The comments about smells in the rooms are right. They need better cleaning and maintenance. The rooms reminded me of places rented by the hour. There are plenty of better quality properties at the same price. It's not terrible, but it's not great either.

I stayed at this hotel many times, but something has clearly changed. On booking, they sell a superior room as newly renovated, but that's a big lie. There was nothing superior or renovated about it. The room was very old and run down, the bathroom was disgusting, animals were wandering around, and the walls were chipped all over. I asked reception if the room was newly renovated, and they said yes. No apology, no action. To customers from the booking site, avoid this hotel at any cost if you want to sleep at night. I'd ask booking how they can let these rooms keep being sold with false information after customers post bad reviews.

The room was large, clean, and quiet, and the staff were nice. There's livelihood. The bed is very soft. They don't provide much shampoo, body wash, or toothpaste, so bring your own.
