The kitchen is great, and they provide towels. You might sleep on the same floor as the common areas or one floor up, and there’s an elevator. You can hear some music at night, but I sleep deeply, so it didn’t bother me. Best hostel I’ve stayed at in Bangkok, maybe even Thailand. Lumphini Park is nearby, so it’s easy to go for a workout. Great choice for a week or longer.

The common area is a real highlight, with drinks and light food, plus bean bags so comfy that people work or lounge in all kinds of positions. Staff are helpful and always smiling. It’s easy to get around on the Metro, and there are several lively bars downstairs. Just keep in mind check-in isn’t available around the clock. If you arrive late, you might have to sleep in the common area.

The club music blared until 3 a.m., and the room wasn’t what I’d booked. Agoda described it misleadingly: I reserved a private room, then arrived to find I was expected to share a dorm. Completely unacceptable. This is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. My experience here made me hate my whole trip to Bangkok.

It was clean and smelled nice, but there are lots of bars and clubs nearby playing music through the night. I only stopped for one night on my way from the airport, and wouldn’t want to stay longer. Some of the latches on the men’s shower-room doors were broken.

We’d booked a few nights and warned the hostel that our flight would get in around 10:30 p.m. They took two days to reply, waiting until the day we were due to arrive, then said we’d have to stay outside until 9 the next morning to check in. Nowhere had they mentioned a cut-off time for check-in. I don’t recommend staying here. Luckily Agoda let me cancel, so I booked somewhere else.
