The surrounding neighborhood was a little run down, but it didn’t really bother me. The rooms were on the small side, and the one with three beds felt cramped. Otherwise, it’s a nice hotel in Bangkok’s old town. Our room was neat and clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and ready to answer questions. Breakfast had a solid variety. We also used the hotel taxi to the airport, with no problems, and there’s a nearby laundry that can deliver clothes back to the hotel.

They gave me a birthday cake for free, which was a nice surprise. There’s also a great rooftop terrace, and they leave two fresh water bottles in the fridge each day, with more drinking water available in the lobby. The rooms are very clean and have what you need, plus air conditioning throughout. They’ll clean your room daily if you want, and breakfast is good.

I liked watching the street from the balcony, with all the interesting daily life around the hotel, including some rather terrifying loads on motorbikes. It was always nice to come back to a clean room and strong air conditioning. The rooms were clean, breakfast had an interesting variety, and the staff were helpful.

We had a spacious triple room with a lovely balcony, and everything was very clean. The buffet breakfast was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was interesting. A really great stay, and I’d come back.

Sandy at the front desk made me feel right at home, and John was kind and really helpful too. The rooms were clean and nice, and the location felt much more local than the Kao San area. Coffee at breakfast was superb, and the palace is close by. Highly recommended.
