SO/ Bangkok

The pool has a lovely, distinctive feel, and it’s a relaxing spot in the middle of such a big city. We found the hotel a good place to recharge after busy days, though the facilities are tempting enough to make you want to stay in all the time 🤭 We were there for five nights, our second stop in Bangkok, and enjoyed every minute. Everyone on staff was friendly and eager to help. The hotel is outside the busiest areas, which was especially nice with the air pollution and gave us quieter surroundings. Many places are an easy walk away; otherwise, a Grab got us to tourist spots in about 15-20 minutes. The spa was fantastic. I had Lisa’s five steps of serenity signature massage, and she made me feel at ease while working wonders on my stiff back and shoulders. I’d recommend trying a treatment if you have time. The gym looked well equipped and had a nice view, though we didn’t get around to using it. Breakfast had lots of options and was great.

Mint’s welcome made a lasting impression on us. She greeted us with a warm smile and such courtesy, and her professionalism and natural elegance went well beyond what we expected. She was respectful and attentive whenever we came and went, including when we left our luggage at the hotel, and she took care of all our needs. Her service is a big reason we decided we’d return regularly. She also took time to show us around SO/ Bangkok and explain the property’s history, the different designs and decorations on each floor, and the details that make the hotel distinctive. We explored everything with real admiration, and the experience will stay with us as something precious and unforgettable. I wanted to make sure Mint’s work is recognized and encouraged. She is a real asset to SO/ Bangkok. Thank you for such a special stay. We look forward to coming back soon.

The breakfast was the best I’ve had at any Accor property. The service also lived up to what you’d expect from a five-star hotel, and the modern rooms were well kept. I’ve stayed at Accor hotels around the world, including Sofitels and So/ properties, and this is my favourite so far. As a Gold member, I appreciated the team upgrading me two room levels above what I’d booked, since there was availability. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Bangkok.

Dinner at Red Oven was a highlight, with delicious food, lovely presentation, and service that matched the rest of the hotel. The room was lovely and immaculately prepared for our honeymoon, and the complimentary amenity was a sweet surprise. We had a wonderful one-night celebration at SO/ Bangkok. From our arrival, the team made everything easy and memorable. They welcomed us warmly, let us check in early, and surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. Teddy, the Duty Manager, gave us personal attention and a genuine welcome. Khun Izhar, Director of Revenue and Rooms, coordinated everything smoothly behind the scenes. Their professionalism and care, along with a responsive, attentive team, helped us relax and enjoy every moment. SO/ Bangkok was a wonderful choice for our honeymoon. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish city hotel where the staff take special occasions to heart. Thanks to Teddy, Khun Izhar, and the whole team for making it memorable.
