Solitaire Bangkok

I had invited family from another area to have dinner with me at the Sky Club restaurant, only to learn when we arrived that it was unavailable. It had been fully booked for a private anniversary event, and hotel guests were turned away. I ended up taking my guests to a restaurant outside the hotel, which put me in an embarrassing position. The event itself wasn't the main problem. Paying guests were denied access to a facility included in their stay, without advance notice or a suitable alternative. If I had been told earlier, I could have made other plans. I find it unacceptable for a hotel to put a private event ahead of its own guests. It showed poor planning and little consideration for the guest experience. For a property that promotes high hospitality standards, this felt extremely unprofessional and disappointing. The stay changed my view of the hotel, and I won't return.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here from February 8 to February 18, 2026. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and polite throughout, and we had a special, memorable stay. The place was clean and comfortable, in a great location. Breakfast could be improved with a little more variety. Apart from that, we had a wonderful visit.

Ms Sara made my arrival at Hotel Solitaire on 8 February 2026, at around 9.30pm, feel warm and easy. I'd had a long flight and an extended drive, and was extremely tired. She was attentive, very friendly, and professional, and got the check-in done smoothly and quickly, which I really appreciated at that hour. Her genuine care and efficiency reflect very well on Hotel Solitaire. Thanks to Ms Sara, my stay started on a comforting, positive note. She is a real asset to the hotel, and staff like her leave a lasting impression and make me glad to recommend the place. Please pass along my heartfelt thanks to her.

There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the metro is about a 9 minute walk away. Breakfast had a good choice, including an Indian dish, and the bar downstairs was nice too. Check-in was pleasant, with friendly staff, and the security was good. We stayed in the b wing. The room was clean and nice, and housekeeping kept everything in good shape. They left two bottles of water each day. The hotel has no smoking rooms. It was a very good stay, and we'll be back soon. Thanks so much for the hospitality.
