Somerset Park Suanplu Bangkok

We liked the apartment so much that, after realizing how comfortable the bed was the next morning, we immediately booked two more nights for our return from the islands. We wanted to spend our last two nights in Bangkok here before heading home. Why take a small hotel room when you can have a spacious apartment with full hotel service? The gym got used almost every day, and there’s a pool too. A short walk in one direction takes you to an excellent bakery with fantastic breakfasts; the other way, a 7-Eleven is only 30 seconds away, and another great breakfast spot is two minutes off. Everyone here is incredibly nice. I couldn’t find anything negative to say, even if I tried. Highly recommended!

Our plans changed, so we tried through Trip app to shorten our booking by 3 nights. The app declined the request, and when we contacted the hotel directly, hoping for a fair answer, they only said, “High season.” They offered no alternative, flexibility or partial solution. We’re repeat guests who had previously stayed in a Premier room, liked the service and left a positive review, but none of that seemed to matter once they had our money. I understand that policies exist, but customer service shows in how people are treated when plans change unexpectedly. The hotel went for the easiest answer instead of trying to help. This has completely changed how I see the brand. I won’t stay here again, and can’t recommend it to anyone expecting basic flexibility and care.

Breakfast was one of the best parts of our four-night Bangkok vacation. The selection changed daily, the quality was top-notch, and the 100% fresh juices were amazing in the morning. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome. Our room was very spacious, everything worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi stayed strong and reliable throughout. The location is convenient, in the heart of Bangkok and within walking distance of many great local restaurants. We had an outstanding stay at the Somerset and give this location a full five stars. We’d definitely consider coming back on a future Bangkok trip. Highly recommended!

Our favorite thing about the stay was the staff. They were always welcoming and glad to help wherever they could. The rooms are spacious, and there’s lush green landscaping around the hotel. It’s in a perfect location. Highly recommend for families or people with pets.
