The Exchange Hostel

The location worked well for me, about 10 minutes from the Airport Link Station and close to night markets and a big shopping centre. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was free, and the shared area was nice. Showers were clean, and the staff were helpful.

The dorms had a cool look, and the beds were spacious. I liked the relaxed atmosphere and the comfy lounge, where you could unwind or get some work done. It’s a five-minute walk to Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station, about ten minutes to Pratunam Market and fifteen to Platinum Mall. BTS Chidlom and Phaya Thai are around twenty minutes away. Drinking water was available throughout the day, which I really appreciated.

I lost 1500 baht from my bed while I was asleep last night. I’d been staying at the hostel for three days, and there are no lockers. Staff checked the CCTV and saw someone take the money, but said they couldn’t do anything because that guest had already checked out. I’d also heard from other guests that someone had lost 300 dollars a few days earlier and staff gave them the same response. My money was stolen, and that was the outcome.

The common room inside the hostel isn’t very comfortable. They could arrange the furniture better and make more of the space. I also didn’t care for the surrounding area.
