The Executive House

A good budget option with a great location. The rooms are really large, and the staff are very nice. The bathroom could use attention, though. It’s old-fashioned and wasn’t very clean.

Really nice hotel, with a wonderful view. It’s easy to get to the water taxi, Silom, and Halal food.

The Executive House on Surawong gives you a practical, home-like base in Bangkok, whether you’re there briefly or for a longer stay. Its location in the lively Surawong area makes it easy to reach public transport, shopping districts, and major attractions. There are furnished apartments with kitchens, Wi-Fi, and laundry services, which could work well for families or business travelers. The property also has a fitness center, swimming pool, and places to eat on-site. It’s a comfortable mix of convenience and apartment-style living.

The rooms were clean, and I had a lovely view from the balcony of the river, flyover, and high-rise buildings. It’s a decent hotel for a work trip, though there’s no restaurant of its own, no room service, and you have to buy bottled water at Reception. The entrance could be made more attractive. A lot of Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi guests seem to stay here, likely because it’s close to Indian Restaurants.
