The Atrium Ratchada 13

The Atrium Ratchada 13 has a quiet, cozy feel, more like a private apartment stay than a hotel. The modern building has a nice smelling lobby, and check-in was polite and easy. The rooms are roomy, clean, and simply done, with comfortable beds, good AC, and showers with proper water pressure. It’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable. Wi-Fi handled Netflix fine, and there’s a little balcony for coffee. It’s peaceful inside and close to convenience stores, cafes, and MRT Huai Khwang. Parking could be more spacious, but that’s a small trade-off for the quiet. Good value and a nice find in Ratchada.

We stayed one night and were happy with it. The rooms are spacious and clean, the reception staff are friendly, and the hotel is right in the city center. You can walk to nearby night markets, and both a short walk and a metro ride are options. They ask for a 200 THB deposit. I’d recommend this nice hotel.

The Atrium Ratchada 13 is a good pick if you want a nice room at a very reasonable price and, like me, prefer to stay away from the busy downtown area. It feels more like a condo than a hotel, with a fantastic cleaning staff. Walk about 500 meters past a row of very nice restaurants, turn onto a residential street, and it’s another 500 meters. The neighborhood feels local and prices are lower. There are three 7/11s and a laundromat within walking distance. Ratcha 9 mall is two subway stops away, with an exit that leads right into the mall. I highly recommend it.

The rooms are well equipped and the hotel itself is fine, with very good value for money. The street isn’t especially appealing, but there are three 7/11s nearby and the blue line metro stop is about a five minute walk away.
